Today recognized as one of the most remarkable voices in contemporary fado, she carries a destiny shaped since childhood, when she first stepped onto the stage. From the most traditional fado houses to international concert halls, her journey reveals a complete devotion to music.

Strongly influenced by masters such as Amália Rodrigues, Fernando Maurício, and Beatriz da Conceição, Fábia has never confined herself to the boundaries of fado. Her talent has unfolded across genres like flamenco, jazz, and morna, in a constant artistic reinvention. Her versatility also led her to musical theatre — notably in My Fair Lady — and to television, in shows like Operação Triunfo and the series O Clube.

As both composer and performer, she has left her mark on albums such as A Oitava Cor, Eu, and Eu Sou, cementing a deeply personal and innovative style. Awarded the Amália Prize and named one of the 50 breakthrough personalities of the year in 2012 by Jornal Expresso, she is now one of the most authentic and multifaceted figures in Portuguese music.
